Before now, if I had to search for MTN (Nigeria)’s products and services or make some simple inquiries, all I needed do was to go their website or call customer care (180). However, to go online, I had to have an internet data plan. Apart from this, I had to bear with the queue to speak to a Customer care representative.
Well, I don’t need to do this anymore, except where speaking with the Customer Care guys was inevitable. This is because MTN has now made it easy to make simple inquiries and access their products and services without needing to call customer care and visiting their site.
What do you have to do?
Simple. All you need to do is to dial *123# and press the send button. What appears on the screen of your phone or tablet is a list showing:
1. Account balance
2. Tariff Plan Migration
3. My Data Services
4. Blackberry Plans
5. MTN Play
6. MTN Callertunez
7. My Apps
From here, simply type the number that corresponds to the service your want answers to and press your send button. Each option you chose has sub-options. You keep selecting and pressing the send button till you get answers to your inquiries. When you have exhausted the sub-options and your inquiry is not met with answers, then you can consider going online or putting a call through to the Customer Care guys.
