In these days of stiff competition in all sectors of the economy, no firm can afford to be a slow thinker. In my second to the last post, I wrote about How to Easily Access MTN’s Products And Services. Airtel, a good rival of MTN, is not left out in the bid to make their products and services easily accessible to its subscribers, and hence avoid the long queues normally experienced when you call customer care lines.
Are you an Airtel (Airtel Africa) subscriber? Then, you might try their customer care app (if you have not). It is called AIRTEL CARE. It is available to Apple and Android device users, and can be downloaded free from their stores ( App Store and Google Play respectively).
With the App, you can :
* Recharge airtime
* View usage details from main account balance or otherwise – Voice, Data, SMS
* Confirm validity period
* Subscribe to data bundles
* Start and stop Airtel services (manage VAS services)
* Explore Airtel Live
* Raise requests, complaints, etc
* Get active Data plan details
* Check data balance and validity
* Check other special offers
I think this is really cool 🙂 From the available reviews (at the time of writing this post), most of the subscribers who have downloaded it, say that it is worth the download. Over 10,000 downloads have been made so far. This suggest that many Airtel subscribers are not aware of this app.
So, I think it is worth trying. You can always delete apps you eventually do not like.
